More than a simple record-keeping of our days and lives, expressive writing can help us understand and honor our deepest desires. Through journaling, we work through problems, find solutions, process wounds and griefs, and create the lives we want.
Journal writing helps us understand ourselves —what we feel, what we need, what we like (or don’t like). Our journals become a guide for what works and what doesn’t. With practice, expressive writing becomes a tool for accepting who we are and rising to the challenges of our lives.
And that’s powerful. When we truly accept ourselves, we can discover our true purpose and feel great about who we are.

Based in Amsterdam and fluent in Dutch and English, I draw on more than 30 years of experience as an English and creative writing teacher to create a safe and supportive environment where you can write with freedom and confidence.
